Buttercream Dreams started very simply - from how we actually live in Salted, every day.
Most days, we find ourselves wearing our active swim pieces long after we've left the ocean. As bras at home. As little shorts around the house. Comfortable, familiar, and already part of our everyday rhythm.
But over time, we felt the gap.
We wanted that same Salted look and ease, without living in swimwear. Something intentionally made for home, that's softer, gentler, and designed for rest.
That's where Buttercream Dreams began.
This collection introduces a new category at Salted: sleepwear and loungewear. Pieces created for slow mornings, long lay days, and the in-between moments before and after the ocean. Designed to feel natural alongside our swim, not replace it. Just like the way our lives flow.
At the heart of Buttercream Dreams is thoughtful comfort. Made from ultra-soft bamboo fabric, each piece is designed to feel buttery on the skin and easy to wear all day. From relaxed boxer shorts to comfort bamboo crops, these are pieces made to move gently with you, at home.
This collection was born from the days where there's nowhere to be. Recovery days after busy weeks. Working from home. Resting, resetting, and choosing softness on purpose.
It was an idea that Amelia had been holding onto for over a year, a desire to create something just for home, without sacrificing quality, shape, or the Salted aesthetic. Buttercream Dreams is the first step in building that comfort story, with more to come as the collection evolves.
Because just as we have pieces for the ocean, we believe there should be pieces for slowing down too.
Buttercream Dreams is part of our lay days story, a reminder that rest is part of the lifestyle, not a break from it.
